About Us

I started my surveying career in 1970 by working with the North Carolina Geodetic Survey Department.  One of my first jobs was working with a surveyor setting a brass survey control disk on top of Grandfather Mountain.  I soon realized that being outdoors and working closely with clients was something that I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing.

January 1978 was the beginning of my surveying career in Orange County.  I started with a dream, a small office, and a couple of great employees that over the years grew to nearly 50.  For those 30 years I had the pleasure of working with hundreds of local clients and government agencies on survey projects from the mountains to the coast.  I never got tired of seeing new places and meeting new people.

At this time, I am semi retired but try to help past clients as I have a long history with them and still have access to many of my old files.

I have always believed in taking a "hands on" approach working on our clients' projects.

I have over 40 years of experience in meeting the survey needs of this area and look forward to working with both past and a limited number of new clients.
